AMONG THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND IMPORTANT

The Bossea Cave is the terminal sector of a big karst system developing in the Maudagna-Corsaglia watershed between the Prato Nevoso dell and the Corsaglia river; it belongs to the Frabosa Soprana municipality in the province of Cuneo and it is located at 836m. high above the sea level; it is one of the nicest and most important Italian tourist caves due to its variety of concretions, magnificence of surroundings, plenty of water and underground lakes.

The tourist side of the cave is very inspiring, creating spectacular effects with great aesthetic attractions.
Its imposing dimensions, dizzy heights, overhanging rock-faces, huge carved ceilings with rounded sharp edges, crags, indentations, cyclopean rocks fallen from above are its main peculiarities.
